See Your Own Green Grass

By:Ashlee Zlotnick

.

It’s not easy to see the good

within your own life.

It is not easy to see the blessings

you receive everyday.

Once you look into someone else’s life

and see the little they have,

you will learn to love your green grass.

.

It is not always greener on the other side.

REMEMBER: looks can be deceiving.

They may have all the material objects,

but their home may be lacking something important.

The thing that gets me through life

besides for positive thinking.

It is a 4 letter word which means the world to me

it is called LOVE!

.

So if you have love in your life

from a spouse, your family or friends,

your grass is already greener

than the person swimming in jewels.

Hope you never forget that!
